This place is the GO TO. The food is hands down some of the best i have ever had. I have been here 3 times and each time i leave AMAZED and full. Tonight i got the 8oz filet, BEST filet I’ve ever had i added the pic of it eaten bc i couldn’t help myself but to dive in, i highly recommend this restaurant. From the start the service is exceptional, everyone is so very kind. Tonight we got to meet the brother of the owner and i can’t say I’ve seen someone take pride and enjoyment in running a restaurant, hard business but he was happy and around at everyone’s table all night even came back 2 other times!! We love this place, this has become our favorite. We will always come back to David’s kitchen and bar!!
I typically don’t leave reviews but I have to sing my praises about this place because WOW!! Service and food are both PHENOMENAL! The prices are extremely reasonable especially considering the enormous portions and locally sourced fresh ingredients. I wish I would have found this place years ago, I haven’t even left the parking lot and have already made plans to come back. Our server Sabrina was so kind, helpful, attentive, and informative. Food came out quickly and I have to say, they have the best fries and tenders I have EVER had. Not to mention, they have the biggest soft pretzel I have ever seen in my entire life (which also just happens to taste so good)! I can’t recommend this restaurant enough.
I'll be honest. I've lived around this area for a while now and was sad when Iron Skillet closed. Then David's Kitchen and Bar came in. I saw the menu, while it looked good, the price was steep. Like highest priced restaurant in any nearby area, including Anderson and Eastgate. For being a bar?? In Amelia out of all places? I was hesitant to give it a shot for a long time. Then last week, I took a leap of faith. And boy I'm sure glad I did. Don't get me wrong, the price was still steep. In fact, compared to menu pictures from just 8 months ago, the price of a steak went up by $20! But by god, the foods justified the price. The steak was delicious and meat quality is leagues better beyond places like Outback (though my wife says steakhouses sear better). Pork Chop was DIVINE with absolutely amazing glaze! And while the waiters/waitresses don't exactly dress up like it's an upscale restaurant (it's "kitchen and bar"), the service was phenomenal. Sabrina was our waitress, and she presented menu as a high end restaurants would. Well spoken, courteous, and attentive. And some random guy who walked by and helped served got the friendliest aura around! We'll definitely come back again! In fact, if my wallet allows I'm eyeing on their ribeye tonight....
I’m sooooo glad to have found this at the start of the summer, because this is going to be my husband and I’s go to spot. It’s got a great patio so the atmosphere is great, but more than that the food is SO good. 10/10. This it the peach side salad and the seasonal cod orzo. The drinks were super good, too! I almost hesitate to post this, because I want to gatekeep this place lol. But honestly, just go! You won’t regret it.
We took my mom here when she came from Florida and we all had a great time! Our server was the absolute sweetest and the food was wonderful. I love that they have steak bites on the kids menu vs places with the typical, basic items!

We had a wonderful dining experience at David’s Kitchen & Bar! Sabrina was our server, and she was polite, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. She checked on us often and provided excellent service throughout our meal. We enjoyed sitting out on the patio, where the weather was perfect and the music created a relaxing atmosphere. We tried the prime rib for the first time, and it was cooked perfectly—tender and delicious. The big pretzel is always a favorite too, served hot and tasty every time. Great food, great service, and a beautiful setting—we’ll definitely be back!
We had a very nice evening at David’s. The fried cheese was the best!! We also had the Brussels (my favorite), BLT salad with chicken and poppin jalapeno burger with fries. Everything was delicious!! The deck was open, music was playing and drinks flowing. We had a great time and will be back!
Where to start... friendly staff made us feel at home and offered a seasonal drink menu/experience as well as food recommendations. From the drinks to the kitchen everything felt fresh, done in house and authentic. The "John Dutton" enjoyed by my husband was wrapped in bacon and cooked to perfection, he states it was the thickest cut steak hes had in years. I had the "Apple Orchard" which was the best pork chop I've ever purchased in a restaurant (juiciest as well) laying on a bed of obviously fresh baked cinnamon apples with a generous dollop of cinnamon butter on top. 🔥 The drinks were so good, I may have over indulged... but the winter sangria was our absolute favorite with the waiters recommendation being or second favorite (you'll have to go to know). Even our appetizer, the loaded potato wedges, were clearly fresh sliced and deep fried, topped with bacon and dill. Can't recommend this restaurant enough!
It's definitely worth coming here, i came on a sunday and we had our food not to mention our pretzel was the size of a newborn baby. The server was amazing and stellar in every way ❤️ It's worth paying a little bit more for a good meal And this place is it! It's clear they care about their food. Their plate presentation and their overall service. I looked over and my drink was refilled constantly I never had to ask for anything. The nashville spicy chicken sandwich was incredible. Again that server, she was amazing 👏 🤩 A great dine!
